Dauber
We mentioned this in the recently-published episode #9, but... Pie Factory Podcast will be having a contest, and we just wanted to give ample time for people to be prepared. For those of you who haven't heard our show yet, Inky and I discuss memories and game play / strategies of two arcade games per episode, and at the end of the episode we reveal a common theme between the two games we discuss. We do plan to deviate from that format every now and again, though. For example, in the near future we will be doing a special episode dedicated to the home video game consoles Inky and I had, both growing up and as adults. In that episode, we will be holding a contest. During one part of the episode, we will announce one of the arcade games we will be talking about in the next episode, and during another part of the console episode we will announce the OTHER game. Your job: guess what the theme is that we decided on. Prize will be announced soon! Keep listening for further details!
Dauber
Just a quick update...deadline for entry in the Pie Factory Podcast's heretofore unnamed contest is September 1 at 7pm CDT! What you need to do is tell us (privately, ideally!) what the theme is that we chose for episode 13 -- just released TODAY. The prize: an Atari 2600 Vader console -- A/V modified (!!) -- with joystick, paddles, and a pretty nice handful of Atari 2600 arcade conversions!
