R.Cade
Is anyone making NanoPEB's? (Or something equivalent). There is a guy that sells on eBay occasionally, but it's been months and months since I've seen one, and they are sold immediately. I missed them twice now... Opry99er
There is an overseas company that seems to have some in stock regularly... Star Games, I believe it is called. There are links to the website here in the forums, I just do not remember where. Maybe google Star Games nanoPEB or something like that. Good luck!! R.Cade
Has anyone successfully received one from Star Games?
+Schmitzi
nope, but I think StarGames is OK. He offered me to refund, but I decided to wait, not to lose my "place in the queue" A bit strange is that he still lists it "on stock". BTW, Belgium is not so far away from here.... ti99iuc
i still not understand why i can't be able to see the official page anymore ... it seems to be offline since 4 or 5 months bynow anyway the direct email of the developer of the nanopeb is: malilonj@gmail.com (Custodio Malilong / Jaime) this is his official name on ebay:: schmutzig1952 but last one sold is about one month ago after a pause of 6 months. i think that the "stargames" website is only a reseller, so, they contact Custodio Malilong when they have a good number of orders and after will resell the cards. i done the same for my User Group in italy some years ago. i purchased 12-15 cards from Custodio Malilong and distribuited to TI99iuc's users. Custodio in one of our exchanged mail, explained to me that he was interested in maintain the distribution of the cards himself directly. He also wrote me about a new project for the nanoPEB with an SD card instead of the CF and a different way to read/write on this, but i never had any new news about this project Edited August 16, 2015 by ti99iuc
TheMole
I ordered a nanopeb from stargames and got a cf7 about one week later. Not a big deal for me though, I hadn't planned on using the pio/rs232 anyway. Keep in mind that I live in Belgium, so I can probably get things a bit quicker from stargames than ppl abroad. globeron
Has anyone successfully received one from Star Games? Yes, I got two (I did the order via the website that time) and sent it to The Netherlands. I got 2x nanoPEB with the RS232 interface (interface does not work, still need to test with a PC with a real COM port, but I do not have one), but it is not an issue. nanoPEB is good 32K + CF card but by max. CF-card (SAN Disk type) is 256Mb, my other 1GB, 4 Gb does not work (probably wrong CF-card brand). But David can send worldwide, he did one to Singapore (for another person), that was a CF7+ card with the PIO interface nope, but I think StarGames is OK. He offered me to refund, but I decided to wait, not to lose my "place in the queue" A bit strange is that he still lists it "on stock". BTW, Belgium is not so far away from here.... He is okay, I have been communicating with him and is ready to help. He lives in Liege, not too far your location :-) (depends what is "far") I ordered a nanopeb from stargames and got a cf7 about one week later. Good to know another person from Belgium! (I used to live here 10 years). Do you coincidentally the developers (DeLaet) if I am correct, they wrote some nice assembly programs, like Pong and Walking Man.
