Cassidy Nolen
First off, I know I am TOTALLY out of my league, but you guys are the pros........ In StellaGraph, there are three playfield areas to "draw". I for some reason remember that the 2600 image is "mirrored" on the playfield. Is that right? I am confused then by what I am looking at. Is the PFdata0 going to be the top? If so, which direction does does it mirror (starting at the top of Stellagraph and go down? I know the mirror in the game is from left to right, but I am not understanding which direction the stellagraph sets up (in other words, where is the middle of the screen). I am soo lost, and its soo early in my project..... Thanks, Cassidy
DEBRO
Hi Cassidy, The playfield data is mirrored horizontally. The playfield is 40 bits wide. If you load PF0, PF1, and PF2 and don't load them again mid-scanline, your data will be repeated on the opposite side of the screen. The order will depend on the value you place in CTRLPF. What you see in StellaGraph is the data for PF0, PF1, and PF2 (the left side of the screen).
