George Washingtoad
Hello everyone, I am a noob to Atari 2600 programing and I thought that it would be a good idea to make a topic where other noobs could get help from the pros. Now, my problem isnt gathering the materials or finding the tutorials. My problem is actually starting up programing by using the materials that I have been given. The material that isnt working correctly is the dasm compiler, whenever I try to open the program it automaticly closes on me. This happens no matter what I do! So I decided to try using my windows xp computer (I first used my windows 7 computer) but this still closed out immediatley! I would really love some help please! GroovyBee
Are you using batari Basic (bB), DASM, the CC65 suite or something else?

Thomas Jentzsch
DASM is a command line tool, not a program with a GUI. So it closes when the job is done. If it closes very fast, probably something went wrong. Run it from a command line (Start/Run.../cmd etc.), then you can see the output.
