The New HSC - Week 32 = Carnival

Thanks. Was too busy to participate this year. Hopefully I can make the bracket challenge. Thanks for the gameplay videos as well. I didn't even know I was supposed to shoot the ferris wheel.

Good and bad news - because we are direct rivals for the bracket challenge (Captain 121 points, Mister 124).

I missed many rounds (because I was sick between April and August -BTW nobody from the HSC missed me :_(

this long period of time...) - so I have to fight like a robot to reach the 24th place.

What happened if had played all the good games like Road Runner, Tutankham, Obelix, Klax, STWTAG....?

Shootin' Gallery - 39,300

Since I don't see a manual on AA, anyone have any tips about what is going on in this game?

Scoring?

How does the game end?

What's the point of the clock?

What does the music mean?

.

I had trouble finding manual for Shootin' Gallery but finally found a .pdf of it:

it is probably bad news for both of us. We both need to make up about 10 points a round to even get to the 24th slot. I don't have high hopes on doing this.

To me, this game is the essence of Atari fun. :)

Agreed. For some reason, this one really sparked my imagination as a kid. The black background, standard for Atari, meant it could have been anywhere, but implied some spooky nighttime shooting gallery. The animals floating magically through the air and odd wheel at the top enhanced this fantasy.

And then there's your typical ducks that turn into ghosts everyone remembers from their childhood carnival games.
