Great Hierophant
When I think of the great arcade game makers, they seem to be either American or Japanese companies. Atari, Williams, Stern, Midway, Exidy, Centuri, all American. Namco, Capcom, Sega, Konami, Nintendo, Taito, all Japanese. While I know there are games of European origin on arcades like Tetris, I am not aware of any prominent games or publishers originating from "across the pond". Did Europeans primarily import or clone machines from U.S. and Japanese companies? Or is there a rich, unique history of European arcade video gaming to which some kind person could point me? S1500
Zaccaria comes to mind. They did both pinball and arcade games. Spain had a rich history of pinball machines, which sadly isn't well documented.
