NE146
I'm so used to pasting in Notepad first as a "filter" then copying/pasting out of that for nearly everything. So I never end up using that feature "paste as plain text" in most things..
OldSchoolRetroGamer
I use Chrome and right click paste has paste as plain text paste option by default that I always use, yes just pasting directly can have some weird effect (typically discoloured or in weeny barely readable text) but your suggest which honestly, I was not even aware of, would be definitely useful if I were not using Chrome. Albert
I give you mad props. I hate to tell you the editor is completely new in the next version of the software. But seems to be for the better, since they rewrote the forum software from the ground up. It's a third-party editor, but should have many fewer headaches than the current editor. And it supports plugins (not written by Invision, thankfully), which will allow things like creating tables again. Good times are coming.. ..Al
+Random Terrain
Seems like it would be quicker and easier to click on the BBCode Mode button (or icon or whatever it is called). It's above the B (for bold). I'm always clicking on it to switch between plain text mode and fancy-pants mode.

Interestingly, the new forum software does NOT have a text-only mode. So enjoy it while you can!!
Omegamatrix
I use Chrome and right click paste has paste as plain text paste option by default that I always use I use Chrome, and also do this. I didn't even think of it as a Chrome feature until now. Guess I've just been using Chrome for a long time.
Thomas Jentzsch
Interestingly, the new forum software does NOT have a text-only mode. So enjoy it while you can!! As long as it allows pasting source code without removing leading zeros and tabs and supports a fixed font, I am fine.
