Sydney Hunter & The Caverns of Death is coming for the ColecoVision!

Sydney must navigate dark caverns while avoiding bats, ghosts, hot lava and other obstacles. If you can survive all 10 caverns, you will be able to win your freedom!

Here's some screenshots of the work in progress

Followed the link and played the game abit. Love the platforming and exploration.

Seriously seems like a perfect for for the system. How far along is the game in development?

I'm already in TAKE MY MONEY! mode :P

Screens look great so far

The ColecoVision version is still early in development while the MSX version is a bit more advanced in development

I'll post a little video soon

It's a very slow paced game, in fact if you were going to move faster you would die alot more often
Right now you don't see alot in the video, but you've enemies, rising lava etc...
This game was designed so the player slowly explore all caverns and more importantly, trying to stay alive while collecting the gems and treasures

More Super Mario than Sonic the Hedgehog, I take it.

Sorry to go slightly off topic, but is it still possible to get the SNES version or was that limited to Kickstarter backers?

It'll be available to purchase once our website will get updated (should be soon by now)

Thanks
