PS3000 video cable

Back in the late 90s I purchased a bunch of stuff from eBay, on thing being a fellow's 8-bit and ST collection. Among the gems was an Atari PS3000. I've never used it since my SC1224 was fine and the floppy drive in the PS3000 was only single sided. Well, my SC1224 decided to die, and I thought I'd put the PS3000 into service. Well, bad news, I can't find the video cable. Luckily I did find the adapter!

Is my only option to make a cable? Or should I just get a Best VGA cable and use a VGA monitor in mono? This is for use on my MegaSTe. I have another SC1224 that's flakey (I think there's a wire loose in the cable because it will show different colors) that I can use on my 1040ST for games.

I don't know what the connector on the back of the PS3000 looks like so it's hard to say, can you take a photo? Is it a standard ST monitor connector?

It's an RGB monitor though, so will only display ST low/medium resolution, not the mono high rez. I doubt Best's colour VGA cable will work with it unless it has a D-15 SVGA connector on the back.

From what I can find, the Roland cables are wired "1 to 1" (straight-through, pin 1 to pin 1 etc.) for all pins, so that should work. You might want to verify that before plugging it in though. It should be an easy cable to make from some 13-pin DIN plugs, I usually use old VGA cables as the R/G/B pins are quite well shielded.
