2600jr games and tv

As I said before I need to thin out collection. So I will start with JR and some games. This link is my photos of what is included.

The three way stick has only 1 handle. Not sure where the others went. And a little rip in the cord in the back but it still works. Rubber broke but wires are in tact.

 

The other wico stick has a rip in the middle of the cord but still works. I put a little packaging tape to fix but was working before the tape. So good.

 

The paddles say gemeni but not sure if they work. They are tied together. When I use pole position (not included in this sale) neither work when I rotate the dail. The car goes left and right by using the red buttons. One paddle goes left and the other goes right. Don't think that is how it is supposed to work.

 

All games tested and works. Except pitfall makes humming noise on tv. But when I use space invaders no humming sound.

 

I also have a le stick motion stick but cannot find it now. Will post later if I do.

 

TV is not included because it is too heavy to ship and was just for testing purposes. But if anybody lives in chicago (suburbs) you can stop by no shipping and I will toss in the tv for free.

 

Not sure what I should start at or ask for the whole lot.

Don't want to start a fight. But see this is what I was talking about. I only got 23 cents. I had a reserve so I don't have to sell it. I will let mehguy have it here. But no body is bitting these days. Gamestop is not the best option either. But nobody on ebay is bitting either.

 

I mean I know people hate reserves because you never know how much. But I said 50 out right so I mentioned that. So I should of gotten way more than 23cents. Nobody reads.

 

Look at the questions also. Nowhere did I say joysticks would not be shipped. And he also asked about shipping to his area. No shipping? he said. I stated 20 dollars in the description. I mean people don't read.

 

I mean I said local only. But only so I don't have to decide on box right away and enter dimensions and estimate pounds. I mean if it does not sell no need to pay for a pox and packaging. But regardless in the description it says 20.

 

I mean at the very least be confused. But no shipping is not possible since I clearly said 20 dollars. People just look at Free Local Pickup and don't bother reading the description. They should.

Your auction says: Ships to: Local pick-up only which is probably where the confusion was even though the body of the auction said $20 shipping. I don't know how that would work if/when the item would've sold and it came time to invoice the buyer. I've seen plenty of auctions where people have cut and pasted the body from another auction, including the wrong item description so you can't fault someone for asking a question. At the end of the day, the auction was for a beat up 2600 jr with a 3rd party power supply, frayed cord and some broken paddles with common games. I can't really see that going for $70 shipped.

Yes the ac adapter is 3rd party and the games were common. But it was not a beat up JR. It is pretty clean and works. And it is nit freyed cord. All cords are clean. Except the controllers. But they still work. In any event 23 cents is not worth it. Even it was beat up. I see junk on ebay all the time go for way more.

If you list an item on ebay as "local pickup only" it doesn't matter what you put in the body. You are eliminating like 99% of potential buyers with that designation.

 

I bet whoever bid .23 was probably a local person who would have paid more. If you try this tactic again, use a BIN and a Best Offer Accepted combo and you'll probably get more hits (even with local only)

I have done this before without problems. I just assumed what is written is more important than the format. The problem with removing local pickup is that you have to select service and can't decide later. Or people complain one guy said UPS is bad in his area. Don't use it. Well post office is really bad where I live. Always loosing stuff or sending to wrong address. One time they mailed something to me to woodstock. I don't even live in woodstock. Don't know how they ended there. And also you have to enter box dimensions and weight. I like to do that later. No point in boxing it up and all if its not going to sell.
