+thanatos
Smach Z real soon now https://liliputing.com/2018/03/smach-z-handheld-gaming-pc-pre-orders-open-march-15th-629.html I would love a little pocket-sized Windows PC, but only if it were $250 or less. This thing starts at $629. Ooh, they have a 'non working prototype' even. I'll wait...
roland p
Its big, like the Lynx. That's good for ergonomics, and for stuffing big batteries inside it. Too expensive for me though.
Punisher5.0
After doing some research on this device it looks sketchy. They have been working on this for several years and still don't have a working prototype. That's way to risky to do a several hundred dollar preorder. Flojomojo
Got $753? The GPDwin2 is shipping now. http://obscurehandhelds.com/2018/03/gpd-win-2-up-for-pre-order-753-shipped-from-fasttech/ Too rich for my blood ... that's like 1980s computer pricing! I decided I'm going to hold out for Win3. I'm hoping they move to Ryzen hardware. I have a feeling that the third gen unit will have significantly more power. Flojomojo
Not sure I want Ryzen https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2018/03/a-raft-of-flaws-in-amd-chips-make-bad-hacks-much-much-worse/ Then again, https://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/news/3028437/amd-ryzen-epyc-cpus-critical-flaws-linus-torvalds-fake not to mention I would literally only use it for games
