gfvh
This game was made with the "Where in this world (or the next) is Morgan San Diego" template, so if you didn't understand that game you will not understand this one . http://atariage.com/forums/topic/249422-where-in-this-world-or-the-next-is-morgan-san-diego/ The secret of the game is to make a map of wherever you are. You have to complete the game with the lowest amount of steps possible. It works on Stella but I cannot guarantee that it will work on real hardware. Source Code:http://gfvh.webs.com/atari2600/indy12.txt You need to know the plot of the Indiana Jones movie, or at least the games. indy12.bin
gfvh
It's unrelated but I'm doing a "Ghost N Goblins-like" game, that will take place in the Loom, er ... Laundry Hero, universe. After the takeover of Chaos due to calling a Stork in the wrong time the zombies are all over the place. (That is the plot of my previous game Laundry Hero http://atariage.com/forums/topic/237174-laundry-hero-a-musical-game-inspired-by-loom/ ) But it is somehow related because I'm using this game as a starting point and I didn't want to open a new thread until I finish the game Here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Ibsqb0nY0k
gfvh
Another unrelated thing, but I don't want to start a new topic. Some of you perhaps know that Maniac Mansion creators are making a new adventure Thimbleweed Park in that old style. (http://blog.thimbleweedpark.com) I did this as a little joke. A demo of that game but in Atari 2600 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BH728FBmH-c Source: http://gfvh.webs.com/atari2600/thimble7.txt thimble.bin

How come there is no thread about Thimbleweed Park here in AtariAge? I can't find any... Weird.
gfvh
Thanks DZ-Jay. I already replied your post in Thimbleweed Park blog. Good luck with your game Christmas Carol!!!
+DZ-Jay
Thanks DZ-Jay. I already replied your post in Thimbleweed Park blog. Good luck with your game Christmas Carol!!! I saw that. By the way, I didn't really mean to call your work crap as an insult, so I apologize for that. I just didn't want anybody to expect that it was some elaborate demo, since it was a rather simple thing. I guess I should have chosen my words better. -dZ. gfvh
I understood perfectly that you didn't want to insult me or the demo It was my mistake to put some emphasis on that in the reply but I really wanted to joke about it.

I did get it. I also tried to joke myself, which is why I said "the Atari is crap anyway." Anyway, like I said in that post, I thought it was cool. I really liked the idea of an old demo for Atari promoting a game on another platform. I think I'll do that when I make my next Intellivision game: make a simple demo for the Atari VCS and have it say "coming soon, only on Intellivision!"
