Pac-Man Collection! question - 2 versions?

So, to the best of my knowledge, two different versions of Pac-Man Collection! have been released on cart:

 

- the stand-alone cart that's currently for sale in the AA store, and

- the version that was on the limited-edition 30th Anniversary Cart from a couple of years ago.

 

It's my understanding that the one on the latter is a slightly upgraded version. What all about that version is different?? Anything besides graphics???

Besides the updated and improved color palette and graphics, there is a "2-Player Dual Mode":

 

During a 2-player game, the right difficulty switch toggles whether the opposing player controls Blinky. If enabled - except when reversing directions, in 'scatter' mode, or when affected by the energizers 'blue' - moving the joystick at intersections will force Blinky to move accordingly in that direction.
