5200 Competition Pro pass through to Colecovision stick ?

I am not a huge fan of the Colecovision joystick, wondering if anyone has attempted a pass through mod on a Competition Pro 5200 joystick ?

 

I'd be interested if one exists.

The Comp Pro's for the 5200 are fairly rare, so I'm doubtful that anyone modified one to work with the Colecovision. If you like the Comp Pro form factor, there are 2600 compatible versions that would work, but you'd need to mod the stick to get the 2nd button to work correctly for CV games.

 

If you want a different two button stick that works well with the Colecovision (and 7800), might I suggest modding a Radica Space Invaders plug and play?

Post 116 of that thread explains exactly how to do it. It's been my main CV and 7800 stick since doing that mod years ago.

Thanks, thats actually a pretty good idea, I may have to check the action on one of those b4 I go hog wild

 

I really like the pro comp's action and have a bunch of them so I wouldnt mind modding one if I could figure out the pin out
