SDX 4.48 (or newer)?

Just curious, but with a purpose. I have an original SDX cartridge with a 27C010 in it using SDX 4.42. It's been suggested that I get rid of this due to the many changes and improvements in the newer versions. But "the rub" is that the 27C010 is a bear to get out to reprogram, so I don't want to go through the pain only to find out that the release of SDX 4.48 is imminent. OTOH, if nothing new is on the horizon, then I can go ahead and reprogram the eprom. Or maybe get one of Dropcheck's new pcb's.

Currently testing SDX V. 4.48e - so it will surface some when this year, I guess.

Recommend the PCB offered by Dropcheck to replace the one in the original cart. Makes future life easier.
