Happy Trails Game 1 (Intv) 6578.jpg

I never played an Intellivision until about 3 yrs ago.  I came across one for cheap with about 70 games.  At that time, my favorites were Lady Bug, Diner, Burgertime, Night Stalker, and... Happy Trails!

This is one of the few games I found I could pick up & immediately get it & play.  No problems with the controller which to me seemed strange & awkward.  It was instantly addictive & had a fun, charming appeal.  After my 1st week of having an Intellivision I never played it again, dreading the memorization aspect & always putting it off for another time.

Now I'm happy enjoy it again  :)

I agree with you - it's the perfect game for Intellivision and is really well suited to the controller. I'm surprised it wasn't that popular, as it's a classic.
