TPR
Just as the topic says, what do you think is the best Atari 5200 Emulator for Mac OSX?
0078265317
I have never got any emulator to work right for mac 5200 wise. On PC KAT5200 works but with some issues. We discussed this many moons ago here. But I forget which one was recommended.
+-^CrossBow^-
I use Altira now for all my 8-bit emulation needs. That of course includes the 5200. Or, for the WIP roms here I just place those on my Ultimate SD and pop it into my actual 5200.
0078265317
BTW on windows side kat5200 works but does not keep settings. If I select 3x or full screen it stays smalll screen and never goes fulll screen or 3x. Or even 2x. Stays small.

Bakasama
I did a little searching on google and found this: http://atariage.com/5200/emulation/index.html?SystemID=5200 I think it's worth a look. or you could just use a windows emulator running with a Mac version of wineskin
kogden
Atari800MacX will do 5200 emulation as well as 400/800/XL/XE emulation. I haven't used the 5200 emulation much but it's there. I'm more on the 8-bit computer side of things but I have a 5200 as well. Atari800MacX is pretty much the only game in town for OSX.
ZillaRUSH
Have a MAC and OpenEMU is great!
okmike87
Have a MAC and OpenEMU is great! I can't get the analog controls to work right on OpenEMU (or any other 5200 emu for that matter). On a game like Missile Command, the cursor goes all the way to the edge of the screen when I push the stick. I simply cannot move it just a little or slowly. +Ryan Witmer
I use Atari++ on Linux, which you could probably get running on the Mac if you're savvy with the X11 shell. I really only use it for development purposes though, so I don't know how well it would fit your needs.
