Master Phruby
Does anyone know how to get around the update crashes that Grand Turismo 6 has? I just bought this thing and it doesn't work. What the hell is with the 21 1Gb+ patches? Doesn't anyone ever think about stuff that like? Why couldn't they just release a new disc. Keatah
To answer your question directly, yes they have thought about it. But it cost too much to publish a new disc. And besides, things "online" are simply too cool. Ask any teen or 20-something. Edited June 7, 2016 by Keatah
HammR25
No idea but google found this: http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/Gran-Turismo-Series-General/Recommended-GT6-Updating-Instructions/td-p/44803188
Master Phruby
That's a crazy update procedure even with 21 updates. Is this game really worth that much work? Do I even need the updates?

Yeah, I'd like to know too. I know the updates add new events and cars, but is the game playable without them?
Silverfleet
I kept having to restart my PS3 until all of the updates took. I remember it taking a few frustrating nights to get it properly installed. The game is really, really good though. I'd say that it's worth it.
