Defender II
Bump! I hope someone can help find a picture. This is the first I have heard of this upgrade. I'd be interested in getting one if anyone has one to sell with the software. Edited July 9, 2016 by Defender II
Tickled_Pink
This is actually a device I think about from time to time. I remember seeing the adverts but have never seen an actual 1050 fitted with one of these. I was intrigued by it back in the day.

Tickled_Pink
Fascinating. I'm guessing the IS Plate replaces the 6507. Not the most professional looking product - but then again neither is the Issue One Sinclair Spectrum motherboard.

GALTRON
Hello everyone ! Together with Zenon/DIAL, I managed to restore this turbo to the Atari 1050 floppy disk drive. The version is, of course, newer and smaller. At this auction we can buy the module together with a floppy disk on which we have DOS that supports this turbo and on the other side a program for settings and diagnostics - https://www.ebay.pl/itm/126324560928 There is also a floppy-free version here - https://www.ebay.pl/itm/126324554070 The auction also includes a video on how to install the turbo module (unfortunately in Polish - ), but it is clearly shown how to install it, so there shouldn't be a problem Edited February 10 by GALTRON
