MrBeefy
Holy heck after passing off the gf playing frenzy I went and frustrated myself with Possible Mission. I for the life of me suck at this game. Any tips?
Trebor
Bet you I suck at the game more. Seriously, it's all about the jumps; timing of them and the patience to do it right. I have never been able to get the mission done, but Kevin's recent updates has once again encouraged me to give it another go.

Lynxpro
I haven't played it in ages. The truly Impossible commercial NTSC version, of course. Since there've been various hacks of recent, would there be any value of a hack to use a keypad? I'm trying to remember if something like that would be useful when inserting the key cards into the terminals. Probably not. And of the hundreds of games my friends with their C64s pirated, they never had Impossible Mission so I don't know what the C64 keyboard was used for, if anything. I probably should've bought Impossible Mission 2 for my ST back then...

KevinMos3
I for the life of me suck at this game. Any tips? 1) The layout of the game is always the same when you first boot up your 7800. If you hit RESET, it will be randomized each time RESET is pressed. You can use the default layout to practice and learn patterns and where codes are located. I played the default layout in my playthrough (thanks for the link, Trebor) and checked every piece of furniture, but you don't have to. If you wanted, you could even use my video to make notes of which furniture actually have an item behind them. 2) Patience. It's okay to take your time in a room. Deaths are more costly than taking your time to learn robots behaviors and plan your moves. Take your time -- don't rush, and practice. 3) If you've made progress checking behind pieces of furniture in a room and die while checking, your progress with each piece is saved as long as you don't exit the room. So if you've started checking a piece, it's usually best to stay in that room until you are finished. That's pretty much all I can think of at the moment. This is a game that I always wanted to complete, but after learning the NTSC version was impossible, I lost all desire to play it. When I found out about the fixed version, I wanted to play and beat it, but it was so darn hard I didn't know if I'd ever be able to. When editing the graphics, I needed to test the game, which gave me reason to stick with it. After a little practice, I found it wasn't really that hard... at least, not the default layout. Some of the randomizations can still be extremely challenging. This is a game that gets much easier with a little practice, so keep at it and you'll be foiling Elvin's evil plans in no time.
