Yosikuma
Sorry if this is misplaced. I have two CX-22 trackballs second hand. Both have poor tracking and the fire buttons only sometimes work. I can't say I'm too comfortable trying to repair these myself. Is there any place that would repair these? Thanks in advance.
Dauber
bumping because I just got a CX-22 that won't fire. If I open it and directly press the mechanism on the right, that fire button works great, which tells me that the plastic thingy on the outer button isn't making contact, but the circuit on the left button only sporadically works. The field service manual that was posted in another thread doesn't really help. :/
Novastar
You can get new fire buttons for trackballs at best electronics, a website that sells Atari parts. I replaced my bad button and it is working great. I don't know how to fix the tracking issues though.
Novastar
Oh and Best Electronics (http://www.best-electronics-ca.com/) also sells the trackball fire pcb. When you call to order, he will likely ask you what the problem is and add his two cents toward what might fix the problem.
