The filename to load is MAIN3O .... that is with a letter O not a zero.

I went into EA option 3 and it seemed to load something ... but not run it?

When I say it loaded something, I mean I did not get any error messages. It just didn't execute anything and it went back to the filename input parser.

I'm having a friend look into producing some new injection molds for the cartridge shell design Acadiel made. . .no idea yet whether or not it will be feasible or what the cost would be (or even a timeline, as this project is one that is being pursued as time allows).

It depends on the file you are using--a Red board will work with chips all the way down to a 2764--but the files must be in non-inverted format. If you have a 27512 with an inverted image on it, it won't work with a Red board. You need to use a Black board for inverted images.

Note, it is not a simple switch-out of the 378/379 between these boards either. There is a lot more going on there. Red boards use 378s and Black boards use 379s.

You can use Classic99, but you must configure an UberGROM cart in Classic99.ini and select it in order to tell the emulator that you are using the UberGROM, otherwise it has no way to know. Demonstration here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWnjDYQJqVU

Also see this post for a sample Classic99 entry and a modified version of Editor/Assembler that can be used as shown in the video: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/244707-preparing-an-avr-as-an-ubergrom/?p=3472615
