+Larry
Was a version of this (homebrew, hack, etc.) ever made for the A8? I've heard of one for the 2600, and from the few pics I've seen it looks pretty faithful to the arcade version. -Larry

Mclaneinc
I think Larry wanted it on the Atari I have to say the 2600 version looks very familiar as if I have seen a variant on the Atari but I'm also a massive mame head so mamybe I'm confusing it on there, but if memory serves me it was a vector game so that would not make sense, I swear I've seen something dead similar of the Atari....(or C64 ) Damn, this getting old thing is annoying

+Larry
The one that I (sort of) remembered was "Star Castle." There is a YouTube video of it, and the image is at Atarimania. Edit: Yes, Star Island. Found it and then typed the wrong name! -Larry

+MrFish
I always liked Star Island. Interestingly by the same developer that did Galactic Chase...

Paul Westphal
Yep, Star Island by Stedek Software. Their other game was a galaxian clone called Galactic Chase.
Mclaneinc
Yep, Star Island by Stedek Software. Their other game was a galaxian clone called Galactic Chase. Which I much preferred to the actual Galaxian's from Atari....Had a faster flow and the aliens came down correctly unlike the Atari official conversion.. Nukey Shay
Atari's version was annoying as hell to listen to, anyway.
