Wolf1night
Looking for a fun First Person Dungeon Crawl or First Person shooter on the Atari 2600 or Atari 7800. Is there any? And whats the most fun one to play? Just got back into Atari after all these years. I own a Atari 7800 if that helps.

Mord
SmittyB showed off a demo of a workable first-person dungeon crawler engine recently for the 7800 using 7800Basic. Not an actual finished game mind you, but he did post the code for people to build off of if they felt like trying to do a full fledged game. Hopefully someone can use or learn from that to make some awesome games in the near future.
BassGuitari
Tunnel Runner for the 2600 is a good one! Kinda freaks me out, actually.IIRC Crypts of Chaos is a sorta-kinda first-person monster killer, but had kind of a clunky user interface--it's worth checking out anyway, especially since Halloween is now less than two months away.I'd say Survival Run qualifies--you fly through tunnels and shoot things from a first-person perspective, and you have to "steer" your craft at the intersections to navigate the maze system. It's an ambitious title but sounds better than it is, unfortunately; it gets really tedious.Escape From The Mindmaster is another good one if you've got a Supercharger.
