Any proto that comes in a clear case is going to be from Best.  I've never seen a clear case one from Atari, although they might exist I suppose.

 

This one might actually be one of the legit ones though, the labels look right and even have the checksums on them.  The 'other kind' Best was selling didn't have labels.

Some of them do not even have EPROM boards inside, I have a PAL Best Asterix with a clear face, that I got from Jerry.  ROM

I am almost sure this is a Best proto... The writing style on the eproms is not consistent to the ones that I own.
