I've been really enjoying what may be the first video game to ever have a speed running clock built in, Game 5 of the original Breakout for the Atari 2600. I should probably start recording video evidence of my attempts for HighScore.com, but it's such a pain to get the camera set up at a good angle to record the screen so I've just been playing for my own sense of satisfaction.

Breakout: Game 5, B/B Difficulty (Atari 2600): 163 Seconds

And for what I'm pretty sure is the first time ever, I've got a contribution from my wife to share. After a couple weeks of on and off practice she bested my all time high score in Centipede! :o

Centipede: Game 1, B/B Difficulty (Atari 2600): 297,770

I played some 2 player games on the Atari 400 with the misses again this evening, this time Pac-Man and Donkey Kong. One particular game of Donkey Kong went really well for the both of us and we each set new personal best high scores in the same game. I was Player 1 and she was Player 2 :)
