I have a game idea in mind. I call it "Ice, Cubes." Skating around the screen while avoiding cubes. Why cubes? Because this is an Atari 2600 game. And I have already used Players 0 and 1 to make up the guy skating. So missiles 0 and 1 can be the cubes you avoid. With the only playfield being the score. It took hours and hours of experimentation to finally figure out how to make multicolored sprites. But before I delve into trying to make the missiles appear on screen, one thing I must do is make the guy move. Right now all he's doing is just standing there. I plan to make him glide across and when the joystick gets unpressed, have him slowly come to a stop. The idea came after looking at Dodgeball and wondered what sport I could do that hasn't been done yet. Ice Skating came to mind. That and it being almost winter. But the important thing right now is that I got the display working okay. Baby steps. I did this in assembly, by the way. That's why it took so long.
