Tickled_Pink
I don't buy season passes as a general rule. I've only bought one to date and that was the Elite Dangerous Horizons season pass - and only because it was just £20. But I had a conundrum. Star Wars Battlefront just wasn't that much fun. A few days ago I got XBL Gold again after a couple of months without it and discovered that a recent upgrade to Battlefront had massively tweaked the Starfighter battles so that it was much harder to destroy Tie Fighters and yet on numerous occasions I found my X-Wing blasted from underneath me with just ONE SHOT! WTF? The tweaks to the combat lock system was also a shock to the system. I noticed that a couple more DLCs had been added. So I went to Youtube and took a look at the Death Star DLC. That looked quite fun so I took the plunge and bought the season pass. It has rejuvinated the game for me. The problem I have with the original game and map formats was that it had too many open spaces. Endor is a pain to navigate. They do seem to have made it easier to see enemies. I'm getting a lot more kills now. Still dying as often but at least I have some idea where the enemies are going to be. The DLCs, though, are great. I haven't tried the Outer Rim yet but Bespin and Death Star allow for proper close combat squad fights. You get a sense that everyone in your team is pulling in the same direction, which you don't really get in the original maps. So yeah - expensive but it really works out at £10 per DLC, which isn't too bad. Just wish they didn't force people to buy the season pass to get the Death Star DLC. I'd have been happy with just that.
mmertes
I bought both the game and its DLC Season Pass and really, really need to get back into the game. Its been almost 5 months since I've played it. The Death Star stuff looks quite amazing.
Flojomojo
The Death Star stuff, particularly the space battles, are what makes a real Star Wars game to me. I bought the season pass on PS4. I wish the enemies were a little easier to see, but if you turn on "Color Blind Mode" and mark everything as yellow instead of red, it's a little more playable.
