+cvga
Nice list. This doesn't appear to be on your list...
+cvga
I was doing a little research and I guess this is Pure-stat Football. I didn't see that anywhere on the box though.
ultrasteve
Thanks! Yep, that's Pure-Stat football. There is a slightly later reissue with a different box. Is that your copy in the pic?
+cvga
Thanks! Yep, that's Pure-Stat football. There is a slightly later reissue with a different box. Is that your copy in the pic? Yes, that's my copy
+cvga
Here's the back of the box if you are interested...
ultrasteve
Nice! And thanks for the pic of the back. It's pretty hard to find these in the UK, unfortunately.
carlsson
Have you compared your collection with what is listed on Gamebase64? It lists 57 games tagged as American Football, but some of those may be duplicates or unpublished. I believe a fair amount of those are genuine releases though. ultrasteve
Oh, I'd not considered that! Thanks for the tip! Just had a quick look through and I think I have most of those on the list in one form or another. There are a few that, as you say, may not have been published and distributed per se, but I'll definitely hunt around a bit. Thanks!
carlsson
You could also compare with Lemon64, which has fewer of the homemade and unpublished games, but at least lists the major titles. However that site seems to miss out on a number of smaller titles which were commercially available.
ultrasteve
Yep, Lemon64 was where I cribbed my candidate list from originally. I hate being a collector sometimes!
slab0meat
GFL was very interesting to play, with that first-person perspective. I don't know if it's a duplicate of one of your Super Bowl games, but I had Super Bowl Sunday.
ultrasteve
GFL is great in its own way, and largely, as you say, because of the first-person perspective. Super Bowl Sunday by Avalon is indeed on my list, as Super Sunday, released in Europe by Nexus.
