rednakes1
I'm noticing on my screen that I get these diagonal lines moving on my screen. It was apparent after my composite mod (the one from coolretroprojects.com) but doesn't seem to show up in the RF connection. Could it be related to still having the RF circuit intact? rednakes1
Interesting, I tried it on an LCD monitor (using a composite jack + video capture device) and the rolling diagonal lines were not there. So it could just be the fault of my CRT TV, but I don't be have another CRT to compare with.
rednakes1
Gah... I just tried it on a 40" LCD and the problem shows up there, not as bad as on a CRT but it's still annoying enough to be there. I probably didn't see it on the earlier monitor because the noise was too small to see on the smaller display. In both TVs it's not just diagonal lines. The pattern changes sometimes so that it's like static. It looks worse than my RF although the RF output has slightly duller colour. Do we need to disable the RF circuitry in order to have his AV mod showing up clear? Edited November 28, 2016 by rednakes1
