TPR
This is the new "Rip Cord" from Exidy/CollectorVision for your ColecoVision! This game will run on a standard ColecoVision unit, no mods or Super Game Module required! CollectorVision was nice enough to send ColecoVision Fan a review copy so we could check it out and post a video! Rip Cord was one of the originally announced ColecoVision games for the system in 1982. It appeared in the game catalogs and even pictured on the front and back of the original ColecoVision console packaging. But the game was never released! Thanks to CollectorVision and Exidy, you can finally play this game on the ColecoVision! While it may be 34 years after the original announcement, late is better than never! We thank the folks at CollectorVision for bringing out another of the "vaporware" ColecoVision titles! The game will be released soon and you can order it at the CollectorVision website: http://www.collectorvision.com

LoTonah
That music makes me happy. I know I'm probably mistaken, but I thought there was more than one screen--a night screen? Can't remember.
Pixelboy
That music makes me happy. I know I'm probably mistaken, but I thought there was more than one screen--a night screen? Can't remember. Well, the original arcade game was in black-and-white, so it was always night.
TPR
A couple more details from the programmer: - This game has 255 levels. - Game level "4" should be a real challenge! (Going to try that one later) - Remember there is a two-player alternating mode.
youki
Is there some layout variation on the location of plateforms? or are they always at the same place?
phattyboombatty
As I recall, Russ has programmed enhanced levels that looked way more challenging and diversified. Did these make it to the final build?

retroillucid
As I recall, Russ has programmed enhanced levels that looked way more challenging and diversified. Did these make it to the final build? That was planned indeed Russ just didn't had the time to add them as he's still VERY busy working on something else Plus we wanted the game to be as close as possible to the arcade version
