Tkat5200
Anyone have one they are willing to sell for a normal price? I have one but I do not ever want to open it...I want another one that I can open and play with as I have about a half dozen SGM games that I REALLY wanna play. please msg me if you have one. TPR
Honestly, I would just very carefully open the box, and play it. If it's an original SGM box, it's not like it's shrink wrapped or anything and you can easily make the box still look "mint" even if it's opened. If it's the most recent one, that's even easier because it just snaps open and closed! So in short - save your money, play, and have fun!
SKELETOR68
Yep, I agree also, save your money and enjoy the SMG, all I have is Super Zaxxon but I leave the SMG plugged into the Coleco.
ValkerieSilk
Don't the SGM games work with the Adam? If yes, that would be an option.
Rey
There are a few that to hear them you still need the SGM. Tkat I did the same as others mentioned above. The box is carefully put away and the SGM is always plugged in.
Tkat5200
I'll give it a shot, its the first gen so its the original box...I just didn't wanna bend it or crease it.
Downland1983
Yeah, I'd have to agree with everyone else. The box isn't factory sealed or anything like that. So, I'd just pop it open and enjoy.
retroillucid
Don't keep homebrew stuff sealed, they're meant to be played Also, I don't think (even when shrinkwraped) the value of sealed homebrew stuff will go up in value versus non-sealed homebrew stuff My two cents
Ransom
I'd say, "Don't keep any video game stuff sealed. It's all meant to be played!"

ValkerieSilk
I'd love the option to buy a 'shelf copy' along with loose cart from CV, Opcode and TPR. I always want one NIB on the shelf pristine and one to play, the 'Player Collector Set'!
Tkat5200
I want to keep a lot of this stuff pristine so when I have kids and they are of age...we can play it together and I can leave it all for them. so i'm trying to keep it as mint as I can. ValkerieSilk
You can have my kids... (ehh, that can be taken a number of ways I suppose). ;( ... But it is pretty fun playing retro games with your kids, my son told me that kids in the 1980's must of had some incredible imagination to make up for the crappy graphics
