mr_me Posted February 8, 2017 Share Posted February 8, 2017 Trackballs and mice are digital devices. They use two digital pulses per axis to figure out direction and velocity. You'd have to find out the pinout to this thing but it could be similar to Atari trakballs and mice. Here's a USB adapter that turns an atari/amiga mouse into a modern USB mouse. http://www.retronicdesign.com/en/ The firmware is opensouce so you can even make compatibility modifications if needed.
