Tempest
I thought some people here might get a kick out of this. While looking for some VB magazine ads, I ran across this ad that appeared in an July1980 issue of Recreational Computing. I've never actually seen a color VB ad before which was interesting in and of itself, but what really caught my eye was that it had screenshots for games that haven't been found yet. Take a look at the attached file Historical Simulation: France in the Old Regime - First row, third picture Musicianship I (might be Music Programmer) - Second row, third picture Computer Life - Third row, third picture At least me know that these titles existed at one point. It's nice to see what some of them looked like as well (especially Historical Simulation). Maybe prototypes exist for these somewhere?
BassGuitari
I'm not sure what's cooler--the possibility of missing VideoBrain prototypes hiding out there somewhere, or that you found advertising material for it. Not to thread-jack, but speaking of lost titles for F8-based systems, there's a screenshot of a game on the Channel F System II box that was never released. Space Odyssey or Space Mission or some such. Guessing it might have been a first-person space shooting game a la Star Ship on the Atari or Cosmic Conflict on the Odyssey 2. Maybe it became Galactic Space Wars, or was scrapped in favor of it?
