Today's Small Score

So, back in the early 90's Mom sold my intellivision systems (plural) and ALL my games for next to nothing in a garage sale.

Dear ole mom passed away in 2005.

This weekend found an old box of stuff crap i inherited from her in the back of my closet. In it was an old NES system that i never played. No idea she even had it. It was in okay shape and had about 6 games.

Found a Used Video Game shop in town and planned on giving it to them (better than the dumpster, right?). I walked up to the door and thought "Well, if they have any Inty stuff i will get store credit...all twenty cents worth".

They tested the NES system, cleaned the games and gave me 85.00 in store credit. While they were doing all of that i looked around and on a top shelf they had an Intellivision II system in a box. They had got it over the weekend and had just recapped the entire thing getting it in newish shape. They had 99.00 on it. Came with Power supply and AV cord.

Well, that was an easy decision. A newly refurbed system for an old NES that i have zero connection to. So 10+ years after Mom's death, she kinda helped me get back an intellivision system similar to the one she sold so many years ago!

An odd chapter to my ever continuing Intellivision Saga :-)
