Opry99er
Are there specific types of projects that are desired? I have (Just this week) started writing a text adventure game for the TI-99/4A Home Computer which is a sequel to an old BBS game running on original hardware. I don't know if this would qualify. It's pretty much anything you want to do that fits within the rules. A text adventure for the TI would work just fine.

linville
Yes, please use http://retrochallenge.org for access. The person controlling the .net and .com versions has not updated them since retrochallenge.org got moved to the new site, or something... 2600problems
i'm lost, what is retrochallenge? a gaming competition? a coding contest?
carlsson
C) All of the above. You pick your own project: hardware hacks, repair, software development, interfacing, cataloguing and so on. Rather free form, and you document your progress during the month.

Osgeld
no it ended quite a while ago, typically there is a january, and a april challenge lasting about a month each
carlsson
Actually it used to be January and July but due to some kind of popular demand the Retrochallenge was shifted to April and October, which means the next challenge should begin in a month from now.
