+atari2600land
So I am making an Atari 2600 game. It displays all right in Stella: But then I go to Harmony cart and I get this. I enlarged the problem area so you can see it better: Apparently my 2600 hasn't taken to displaying large chunks of playfield against new background colors correctly. It's not just this game, I have seen this and ran across this problem on other games as well. Any way I can fix this?
Thomas Jentzsch
Sorry, I can't see the problem. What do you mean?
+atari2600land
The problem is it likes to overlap the playfield colors somewhat whenever the background color changes.
+SpiceWare
What you're seeing is normal. Those are artifact colors caused by the way the 2600 generates the video signal. It common on many old systems. I show some examples from my 2600 in reply #
