hizzy
Another book by Dynamite, written by Max Bemis. https://www.bleedingcool.com/2017/04/17/arcade-classic-centipede-slithers-comic-shops-summer/ Bemis has a decent following. Looks like Dynamite is putting some serious effort in to their atari books.
AtariLeaf
At least they're dropping the stupid elves and magic wand crap. Even as a kid I never liked that. To me it was just a shooter and the story made no sense. If anything a sci-fi, mutant bug angle made more sense but that's me.
Skippy B. Coyote
Very cool! It looks like no small amount of inspiration for the comic was drawn from the more recent game Centipede: Infestation, which was actually a surprisingly good game. A lot like a cross between Centipede and Robotron 2084, and definitely a game that every Wii owner with a Classic Controller should have in their collection if they're a fan of Centipede. hizzy
The variant covers are by some established names, too. Good on Dynamite!
moycon
I've already pre-ordered the Swordquest Atari 2600 variant cover. Guess I'll go back and snag the Centipede one as well!! Thanks
