My Knee Hurts - work in progress for 2600

Well, I think this game is far enough along to get feedback on it. This game is of the fly-swatting genre (If that is a genre). Get the needle over the giant green germ and press fire. If the germ reaches the leg, the game ends. Tell me what you think. I spent last night putting some sound effects in it.

Kind of a funny concept. Reminds me of a PS1 game called Mr. Mosquito where you play the bug trying to bite the humans. Might be fun to swap roles for a second round where you control the fly trying to avoid the swatter and get to the leg.

Gameplay lacks variety IMHO. Right now I simply move in the general direction below the germ, then just hold fire and wait until the germ flies into me. More challenge and/or variety would be nice.

That's the kind of feedback I need. So I added a timer, and if it gets down to 0 (or the germ reaches the leg), the game ends.

Fixed a problem with the floor. It changed levels when going to b&w from color. I also lowered the number of seconds you have to 5 and changed it so you get the same number as the time remaining, so if you get the germ when the time remaining is 3, you'd get 3 points.

yeah, lack of difficulty is the biggest drawback. I played for 200+ points and the game never got any more challenging. I like the germ sprite.

I changed the way the germ moves. See if it's any more difficult now...
