Flojomojo
I consider this a coincidence (especially since this film isn't about Atari) since 3 lines is quite a common pattern. It'd be like saying the table leg in this picture I took is modelled after the Atari joystick. Um, you see where it says "ATARI," right? Tangentg
Um, you see where it says "ATARI," right? Oh now I notice it. I'm convinced then. Just in time for the movie tie-in, the Atari Mini! Hey...if Nintendo can do it... The Atari Flashback line are basically Atari minis. Plug and Play with preset games. Also I want that paddle keychain thing. +davidcalgary29
What's with all those low basso-profoundo sounds they make in movie trailers these days? BBBBBBVVVVVVVZZZZZzzzzzoooooooooooommmmmmm.... Anyways, does Atari have any significance to the plot or are we just looking at product placement? But that's an homage to the classic Vangelis score from the original movie! ZylonBane
I'm holding out for the 2049 Heavy Sixer myself. Will it play Miner 2049'er?
Flojomojo
Also I want that paddle keychain thing. Are you sure? http://atariage.com/forums/topic/92582-atari-keychain-games-from-basic-fun-stay-away/
Tangentg
Are you sure? http://atariage.com/forums/topic/92582-atari-keychain-games-from-basic-fun-stay-away/ Oh I thought it was just a keychain. I have a 2600 console and a joystick keychain and i really like them, so I just thought I'd like a paddle one too.
RamrodHare
A Blade Runner game would be nice. Edited May 27, 2017 by RamrodHare
ZylonBane
A Blade Runner game would be nice. What does this even mean? Like, literally any game, just named "Blade Runner"? Okay, get yourself a Berzerk cartridge and write BLADE RUNNER on the front. Yay, you're now Deckard hunting down Replicants and running from Evil Olmos. Flojomojo
There was a 1990s point and click adventure based on Blade Runner. That will have to do for now.
Supergun
I thought Konami's Snatcher was kind of a video game based on a Blade Runner world?
Torr
There was a 1990s point and click adventure based on Blade Runner. That will have to do for now. Do you mean Rise Of The Dragon? That only had Blade Runner's "style", the dystopian metropolis-future with a hero in a sweet brown trench coat. It was actually about Drugs and a Dragon Cult. Nary a robot to be seen in it. Flojomojo
Ha ha, no. The Blade Runner game I was thinking of was called "Blade Runner." https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blade_Runner_(1997_video_game)

Nope, pretty sure most people with average intelligence knew what I meant.
ZylonBane
Yes, you meant the bare minimum neural activity to type the sentence "A Blade Runner game would be nice", and that was the full extent of the thought you put into that post.
high voltage
Those Brits made games of any film, be it a good or bad game....mostly bad. Edited May 28, 2017 by high voltage

I found a video review. It's definitely a game. The reviewer thinks it might have been a way to dodge copyright problems by saying it was based on the music rather than the film. It looks pretty faithful for what it is. As you'd expect from a C64 game, it has music, too. https://youtu.be/j55awIqylto
