Plastik
I have a SC1224 laying around that I wanted to use as a simple monitor for my Ti99 and gaming consoles. I made a simple cable to go out to composite and audio using the diagram on this page. http://jlgconsult.pagesperso-orange.fr/Atari/interfaces/interfaces_en.htm#Atari_Monitor_Connector But I don't get any picture just a black screen, are there other pins I need to connect so it switches to composite mode?
oracle_jedi
The SC1224 is an RGB monitor and cannot natively handle the composite signal from the TI. Check this thread on how it can be done: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/169310-sc1224-on-8-bit-in-color/ Although I think those converters are almost impossible to find now,. Plastik
so it can receive a rgb signal just not composite one, gotcha.
