Modded CV Controllers

I picked up a CV from a kid on Craigslist a few years back. I finally got around to paying attention to it and added a Yurkie AV mod. The joysticks were modded sometime before I got it. They consist of wooden dowels covered in some sort of plastic coating like rhinocoat some epoxy and a wood screw driven from the bottom. Here are a few Photos of what they look like inside and out.

 

They are pretty stout. I've used them and they seem to hold up well.
