65C816 Machine Language Monitor?

Recommended Posts

Is there anything like Omnimon/exDDT or any other Machine Language Monitor that supports 65C816 opcodes, registers, etc?

If there isn't I programmed a simple ML monitor with mini-assembler for the 400/800 in my teenage years which used regular CIO calls for all input/output, so it was more of a "hands-on ML playground" for beginners than something to be used for debugging (I simply lacked the skills to do things like breakpoints and thought that using standard OS calls rather than screen writes was a good idea). As I still have the source code it could probably be extended to support 65C816 (the "probably" owed to it being largely uncommented). Any merit in this or any other ideas how to get a 65C816 compatible monitor?
