SHaMROCK 73
I've asked this before but I can't believe my memory could be wrong... When I was a kid I had TAPPER for ColecoVision, still do. When I moved out on my own I took my ColecoVision and all the games, but not the manuals... I have now almost reaquired all the manuals. In my mind, Tappers manual was a small book just like all the Coleco made cartridges but in browns. The one I have now, and all I can see online are very large and folded, but looking like a restaurant menu. I'm from Canada, could what is in my mind be a Canadian, probably bilingual variation? This is driving me crazy...
Panama Joe
I bought my copy of the U.S. version upon original release in the '80s and it came with the "fold-out restaurant menu" instruction sheet. IIRC, this was around the time Coleco had begun drifting away from their 'classic look' package design and went to full cover size images on their box fronts (Illusions, Dam Busters, etc.) Since Coleco was now a computer company, I believe the intent was to position their games to look more like computer software when it sat alongside other titles on a store shelf. By this time, cartridges were beginning to wind down. At least that's my fuzzy recollection...
NIAD
The Tapper menu was a folded restaurant style menu and i'm almost positive that there is a French Canadian version as well... memory isn't what it used to be. Never saw a Tapper instruction booklet reminicient of the all too familiar Coleco manual.
