Got a Model I & screen - No picture

Hi all,

I need some direction. I got a Model 1 with screen and expansion unit. This is my first try with one of these, since 1981.

First thing, check power bricks with a meter. They seem to work. Ok power screen with nothing connected. Screen is white/blue/gray. cable out front seems a bit loose.

Power keyboard only. Red LED lit. OK so far. Connect screen to keyboard. Power up. Same white/blue/gray screen. Play with controls, front and back of screen. no change. Not a good start. Oh, there was a din cable with white and yellow RCA connectors mixed with all cables. I connect this to a VCR, then to a commodore monitor what works with Atari 400/600XL RF. I get snow on channel 3, on channel 4 when I type the snow changes a bit then back to normal snow. I switched white and yellow. not much difference. I tried the din cable I use for Atari's no difference. So I think the keyboard works, but have not sure what to do next. I looked for active forums that I know must be out there but had little luck with google. I see that there is not a lot of activity here either.

Suggestions on what to do next or where to go for some nube help?
