atrax27407
Does anyone happen to have either the source code or the EPROM produced by Millers Graphics for the CorComp RS232 that corrects the conflict in the interrupt line when using an 80-column card and an interrupt driven telecommunications program? barry.peterson
I have at least one, but it's probably the original, just opened it up and no indication of upgrade.
RickyDean
I have several Corcomp RS232 cards, how would one tell if it had the upgrade? And if I do have it, I do have the capability of downloading the data, with my MiniPro.
atrax27407
It should have a Miller's Graphics sticker on the DSR chip.
RickyDean
This is what I found on three of them, don't know if I have anymore for sure. You can tell, two of them are very similar, except one is missing the 74LS125 ad there are different jumper and passive components in some places. The 1985 one does not have the lower 4 support chips, but does have a PAL(maybe the replacement for the four, maybe a good place to start, reverse engineering). It looks very similar to the lower half of the Corcomp MES. in design. dumped the two proms and one eprom and found there was some additional info on the modified 1984 card. Will place the binaries here Monday, went out the door to work this morning and forgot them. But nothing that says Miller Graphics.

atrax27407
Are there revision designations on the boards?
RickyDean
Are there revision designations on the boards? What you see in the photos are pretty much it. They are high resolution photos. That's about all i can tell you about them, here from work.
atrax27407
OK - thanks. Could you email the photos directly to me at your leisure. I assume that the DSR dumps are in the same order as the pics.
RickyDean
OK - thanks. Could you email the photos directly to me at your leisure. I assume that the DSR dumps are in the same order as the pics. I can email them, but if you click on each picture and look at the bottom right corner of each pop-up, you will see the open to save the photo. and no the files are not in the same order, but the 1985 file is the center card. The other two are the 1984 versions, just differently made. i will have to take another look at the eprom(proms) and see.

atrax27407
I just did a file comparison of ALL of the CorComp RS232 DSRs that I have (including the three listed here. According to my Hex Editor, all of them are identical in file content except for : 1984CCRS2322732promOldStyleDiff.bin The only difference between it and the others is the recognition/version byte which is AA03 instead of AA01. Could someone else do a comparison and check my results, please. Thanks
atrax27407
I had used the wrong file for my comparison. The file mentioned in the above post has multiple and significant variations from the others hence the new version AA03.
+Schmitzi
From which card/picture is that file ? (1984CCRS2322732promOldStyleDiff.bin ) The third one, labeled " 1984 / 3 / 26 " ?
RickyDean
From which card/picture is that file ? (1984CCRS2322732promOldStyleDiff.bin ) The third one, labeled " 1984 / 3 / 26 " ? Schmitzi, if you look at the photos you will see the one that is obviously a prom and not an eprom. If you look at the file, you will see one with just the word prom in it, the one you mentioned and the other two have eprom. That explains which file goes to which. Hope this helps.

atrax27407
Those are .bin files of the CorComp DSRs. Two are actually Vn 1 (identical) and the other is Vn 3 (the first one of the three. None are the Miller's Graphics version.
