Self centering hack

I have not got back to this yet. Everything was pretty groovy until I got to the size of the replacement pot issue. After fooling with it a while, I reached the same conclusion that countless others have, that instead of reinventing the wheel it would be much easier to make a complete custom stick. The whole idear of this build was to be able to easily convert a stock stick to self center without resorting to temporary means like rubber bands and so on. I ve not given up, but am in a holding pattern until I get the pot issue sorted.

It is an insult to whoever thought non-centering version was a good idea. Whose idea was it anyway and how did that get approved?

That question applies to most of the 5200's design choices.

Well, to kinda take up for the controller designer, it really wasn t all that............ Nope, cant do it. It sucks. It s the suckiest suck of a thing that ever sucked. It s an afterthought, like building a car that you have to take a wheel off of to get to the battery (Chrysler). They make a system with quite a bit of potential, and I would guess that 10 minutes before it went to market realized that they had not made a controller that would work with it. It s like finding out that Santa Claus is a pedophile.
