Have we solved the Super Pro Football mystery yet?

If not, I just got a copy of Super Pro Football. I put it in on my INTV II and if the quarterbacks are black and red, they appear right as they come onto the field, not after the ball has been thrown.

Are you talking about the problem described in this slip incuded with some cartridges? . The quarterback not displaying until the ball is hiked might be a timing issue caused by the Intellivision II Exec.

 

If you don't have this problem you might have a fixed rom variation on your cartridge.

 

The rom file included on the Intellivisiin Lives CD, and what most people likely have in file format, might be neither of these two. It crashes with an Intellivision II Exec and shows that INTV attempted to fix the problem. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/228141-lto-flash-intellivision-flash-cartridge-information/?p=3596200 If someone has a flash cart please test it.

Yep, that's what I'm talking about. I guess there are two different variations of the ROM, since I don't have the problem.

Make sure you test it through the first play.

I tested it through the first play. The QBs (red and black guys?) were on the screen the entire time.
