Omega-TI
Concerning the BASIC and Extended BASIC programs we've been seeing lately... It appears some of these classic games fall into the "GOOD" category, so I've been wondering, has there been any real attempt to convert any of them to FR99/FG99 BIN format? I know there are very few people with the talent & skills to do this sort of thing and no one wants to waste their valuable time converting garbage. It's also sort of annoying to some programmers when they are always hounded by others to do things. So how about we have open suggestions for candidate programs to convert? Then maybe after we get a few, we could vote to prioritize them too, so *IF* an Uber programmer has any spare time and wants to add to the "Legacy Bin" of BIN's, they could take one from the list and do their magic. Another possibility, and a way for non-programmers to contribute to the community. If they really, really wanted something converted BIG-TIME, they could put a dollar amount after their suggestion as a promise to PayPal the person who converts it. If an item has two or three pledges after it, that could grease the skids for a quicker conversion. So in the end, regular non-programmers could also feel good about giving something back to the community.
blackbox
These are the basic/XB games I enjoy and would love to have on FG. Generally the several games by Roland Trueman have been well received and should be somewhere in the top 10. Flip Flap (Trueman) Noteworthy (Trueman) Tex Bounce (McGovern); Diablo surely is a must. Not Polyoptics early games were fun and would be improved by faster responses- eg Ant Wars Reaction by Malcolm Adams was fun.
