eightbit Posted December 31, 2017 Share Posted December 31, 2017 Recently a really nice guy gave me a mint IIe with a lot of expansions including a Transwarp. He replaced the PSU in the machine with a small server PSU as the Transwarp apparently killed the original supply. He also gave me the original burned out supply just in case I wanted to get it refurbished which is cool. The server supply he modded and installed is a perfect fit and works great, but it has a hardcore little fan and is SUPER loud. I would like to make this machine silent one day soon and am looking into reputable dealers that would be able to not only refurbish the original supply but will do it with enough power as to not have it blow out again.
